Finally, they are starting to listen!

In case you didn't notice, the President and Congress are starting to listen to us. The President changed his fraudulent number of 47-50 million uninsured Americans to 30 million. It's still a fraudulent number, but it shows he is starting to listen. He also offered to drop the public option, which would eventually result in government control of our health care. It just shows, pressure works.
And we need to keep that pressure up. We need to tell them a few more things that need to be fixed. Tell the politicians that the 30-million number is also inflated, because many of the people in that group can afford health insurance, they just don't want to pay for it. And frankly, who can blame them given that the prices are inflated by government mandates. Health insurance in many places is simply a bad deal.
Tell the politicians that almost everyone could afford health insurance if only the federal government would allow individuals and employers to buy health insurance across state lines, thereby avoiding state mandates that make insurance too expensive.Let them know that we know that government insurance co-ops will eventually lead to the same result as the so-called "public option." No government insurance co-ops!
