If the Health plan was that great, he wouldn't have to 'Rally' anyone to it...

Whenever I read that the President is meeting with this group or the other to 'Rally' them for his health plan, I know what it really means. It means he is trying to find out what kind of bribe he can offer them to get them to agree to this plan. You know why? Because the plan stinks! The doctors don't like it, the hospitals don't like it and we don't like it. If you want to see what government run health care looks like, you need look no further than the VA. Talk about a nightmare! Infections spread like wildfire, mis-diagnosis and mistakes run rampant throughout the entire system. It's a total train wreck and nationalized health care will be too!

The government is not capable of running a successful program. Name one program they have run successfully for any length of time. You can't because it has never happened. This is just one more aspect of our lives that think they are smarter than us. They think they should have the right to tell us what we can and can't fo with our own bodies. Call your government employees in the congress and senate today and reiterate to them that you do not want their health care plan. Just let us write off what we spend on health care insurance on our taxes, regardless of where we get it.

The New Leftist

I can think of a government program that has been and continues to be successful - the military! It really is amazing how well government programs function when they are funded.

They think they should have the right to tell us what we can and can't fo with our own bodies.

That's strange, I don't think I've ever heard a liberal say that the government should make abortion illegal. I thought that was a Republican thing.

Well, the VA is a great example of health care supplied by the government gone awry. My Father-in-law and my Father are both victims of that system. They cannot get the care they need in a timely manner. But you will soon see just how bad it is when it happens.

If the new health care plan ends up nearly as bad as the Right claims it will (in fact, not in opinion) I'll be right next to you marching on the Capital, brother.
